When we have a very diverse mix, you truly have to start calculating ROI on the PROGRAM as a whole and not at the individual campaign level. We have learned that the individual channels contribute to the success of the others. Remarketing obviously is dependent on whatever brought them to your site first. Video can help develop the brand, whereby a purchase is made down the road. I think an integrated approach always works best (when there is budget to support the diversification).
