As consumers increasingly turn to digital, marketers are faced with the issue of how to best optimise budgets across channels and understand the role digital media can play in brand-building and driving long term sales. TwG_UK_YouTube_ROI_article-01-final2.jpgThis study proves that the ROI on YouTube campaigns is higher than that of TV campaigns. Use this research to encourage your clients to increase spend on YouTube so that you can better optimize their media mix.

What do you do to encourage clients to diversify their media mix?

If your clients already have a diverse mix, how do you measure how effective the mixture is?

When we have a very diverse mix, you truly have to start calculating ROI on the PROGRAM as a whole and not at the individual campaign level. We have learned that the individual channels contribute to the success of the others. Remarketing obviously is dependent on whatever brought them to your site first. Video can help develop the brand, whereby a purchase is made down the road. I think an integrated approach always works best (when there is budget to support the diversification).
