Great Way to Find PPC Clients? Speak at non-PPC Marketing Conferences!

Happy Friday Y'all.  One of my favorite ways to find ppc clients is to speak at non-PPC marketing conferences.  PPC conferences are a lot like Multi-Level Marketing conferences in everyone is offering a similar service.  Not the best.

At a non-PPC marketing conference, you may be the only person who does PPC.  I get a lot of inquiries from social media, seo, and development agencies to white label.  Sometimes I accept...  It works like a charm.

Here's an example of my most recent networking opportunity.  http://houstonsmday.com/tony-guo/

And if you are curious... the presentation itself as a pdf.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxqEKAppp511dGRZLVNUYk9VdXM/view?usp=sharing

Have a Great Weekend Y'all.

Awesome, Tony -- How do you get a list and the opportunity to speak? I would think tradeshows at the same types of conferences would be good as well.

I Agree. Trade shows are great too. The only caveat is a lot of trade shows make you pay to be a speaker. At least in the auto and legal industry. I found my first speaking engagement on Twitter / Facebook. After the first, they now come through Linkedin Groups and Inmail. There's non-paid speaking opportunities where we are at Oil and Gas trade shows. I haven't found a paid one yet.... Smiley Happy
