Happy Monday Y’all.

Here are 10 tips for starting your own agency or freelancing. Feel free to add.  They helped my agency survive for a year.  Smiley Happy

1. Have several sources of income.

2. Have as many clients. Small clients work too. Cash flow is important.

3. Do not rely on 1 large client.

4. Save money to invest in opportunities. If you don’t have money, these opportunities will pass you by.

5. Prepare for “unstable” months. There will be rough months.

6. Have passive incomes (e-books, youtube, adsense).

7. Be present on social media. Clients care more than you do.

8. Do not hire a new employee unless you have 6 months salary saved up.

9. Buy the highest quality laptops/desktops/electronics you can.

10. Be careful of software costs, they stack up. We keep a list of softwares we pay for monthly. It’s sometimes scary to look at: Slack, Webex, Salesforce, Google Apps, Marin Software, semrush, swydo, Adobe, Dropbox, and a few others.

Great tips, Tony!  1-3 kind of go together, right??  We learned this the hard way MANY times.  I prefer many smaller clients - Not all eggs in one basket.

Haha... It's so important I thought I'd just repeat it 3 times.  Smiley Happy  But yes!  Incredibly important to have multiple clients and prospects ready.  We have even lost money on some accounts.
