Postcard Never Arrived - I Tried 2 Times

My client used to have a listing under the same name that was taken out of Google. They were working out of a residential location up until late 2016. I deleted that listing and remade a new one at the new commercial building they work out of now. Now they have moved addresses and Google seems to be NOT sending a PIN postcard, even though I have requested 2 times now. We provided pictures of the office, front of office from the street. They currently don't have a sign posted because they are working with the landlord to get that up.

 

What can I do to verify if they will not send a postcard? I put in a request for a phone call and Google support responded with a message that did not make sense. After I sent pictures from my client of the office, they basically said the listing had been marked as spam, but in the GMB backend there is no mention of that. It just asks me to verify with postcard, but no postcard is ever sent. Other mail is being received at this office location fine. Any fast track or help would be much appreciated.

If you haven't received a postcard, you'll need to contact support. Due to the way the system works, you'll need to wait 14 days since the last postcard was sent, if you requested it more recently than that. 

There's a few ways to contact support:

Facebook

Twitter

Also as a note, just deleting profiles out of your dashboard doesn't actually remove it from the back end system. I couldn't find it anywhere so it should be fine, but in the future you'll want to update listings to new locations when you move, not delete them.

Great advice from @James W to get verified, just a note on the indication of spam.

 

An unverified listing doesn't necessarily get an update from the local, where the signal is stored that a listing is marked as spam, so you wouldn't necessarily be able to see that a listing is marked as spam the same way an operator would.

 

It would probably be helpful to list your corporate address on your site.

@James W - Thanks for the reply. I waited 14 days twice! When I contacted support they sent me an email that basically said my listing was spam, and to check it over. I made zero adjustments because everything checks out. The do business at their location, but mostly mobile, so I have the address listed to show.

 

The support # is already offline. Thanks for the link. I will try tomorrow.

Thanks @Joel H... I'll add the address to our Scottsdale location to a location page. Frustrating when you are trying to play by the rules. :) Hopefully phone support can help.

@Helmut Geissler Do you know the hours they are open for phone chat? Everytime I look they seem to be closed, and can't seem to find the hours posted.

I made myself the strange (and surprising) experience (though: not today but since weeks ago) not being able to get the link  "Talk to a specialist" properly working if using it through my Top Contributor google account or one other of my several accounts.

But at the same time and using the link through a third of fourth Google account of mine it works.

 

for those "bad" accounts I get the last line of the form alwaus and during the entire day for 24 hours like below:

which is  a lie because with the good accounts I don't get this "currently closed" message. 

I asked about this strange discrapancy and bad  behavior Google - but their answer was  of not much help yet.

All I can say is:

the link works for the most people during Monday through Friday and during the day time 9AM to 6 PM.

 

Recommending now using any other Google Account.

It seems some account are somehow "burned out" for a phone call back - not sure why . But it wouldn't be the first account specific issue we encounter.
