Can't receive verification postcard

I've tried verifying my business for months and I'm getting nowhere. I lease salon space and the mail goes to the main address, attn. my name. For some reason I never personally receive the postcards -- possibly the person who collects the mail thinks it's junk or who knows... Is there another way to verify? My inability to list my business on Google is detrimental to my livelihood.

If you are unable to verify after several attempts you need to contact support.

1- Login into your account
2- Go here
https://support.google.com/business/?hl=en&rd=1#topic=4539639
3- Click on the Contact Us Button in the upper right 
4- then on the Request a Call phone icon 
5- Answer the questions
6-Google will call you back within several minutes and hopefully solve your problem.

Does the leased space not have an actual address ?

 

What is the difference between addresses / locations ?

I am in the same situation as Melody, except there is nobody else checking the mail, as my business address is the same as my home address. So after 2 months of waiting for the verification code, including using the resend option I am still without the code.

 

i am guessing the only option left is to ring support, but wanted to highlight this doesn't seem to be an isolated problem.

I know from experience that Google doesn't sent the postcard under certain circumstances
One reason could be the specified address isn't a valid geocoded address.
What happens if you search in GMaps or in MapMaker for the same address you specified in your dashboard?

Well I've done a search in MapMaker and it finds my address without any issue.

I've dropped them an email and hoping they will get in touch tomorrow to see if the matter can be resolved. My competitors are all coming up in the search so it's leaving me at a major disadvantage.

How quick are the support team generally at responding to emails in relation to Google My Business? It suggested that it would be pretty prompt, but I've not even had an acknowledgement since I sent my query on Saturday.

I did!

 

I recalled them just now and the card is apparently on its way now. So fingers crossed it will arrive.
