Hi everyone,

for some reason I cannot escape the AdWords Express. When I go to sign up for AdWords it automatically takes me to the express version. I realize I can have both but it WILL NOT take me to AdWords, I am constantly redirected to EXPRESS. How do I get off of EXPRESS so that I can just have AdWords?

Hi @Mekaila F

1) You can click the 3 vertical dots in the header at the right hand side and click "view in adwords".
You will be able to access your AdWords Express account in AdWords with the same log in info. You will have some work in front of you to rework your campaigns and put all of the many, many features of AdWords to work. Quality score is really important and it can only be at a good level by utilizing much of the features.

2) Some accounts do not have the dots and cannot be manually migrated. In this case, you have to contact support and they will do it for you.

If you never set up AdWords Express (but have visited it), your browser cache needs to be cleared, since the cookie (and history) and auto fill option is taking over. Once you clear your browser history, use this direct link to visit AdWords: https://www.google.com/adwords/

All the Best,

James

No three dots. There must be more than just this option. If I go into
Google buisness is there a way to unlink my email address? Is there a way
to unlink my email address?

Hi @Mekaila F,

The other way is option #2.... when option #1 does not work (as stated above).

No, removing your email will not stop the AdWords Express account, or your obligation to pay... yet it would break your access and cause other issues with Google My Business. You could create a fresh email address for AdWords, then log out of all other Google accounts, clear your browser cache... then go directly to AdWords and start the signup process.

Ideally, you should use option #2 above.

Kind Regards,

James
