How can I share my Google Adwords Express dashboard report with my client?

Our Google adwords express dashboard is displaying some attractive results I would like to share with my client.  How do I share this with my client?

The client is a local franchise owner who does not have access to the google analytics account controlled at a corporate level.  Using Google Analytics to track the report is not an option.

Hi David,

The linking of accounts is designed to allow "another person to be added for access" to the account. Outside of this, it doesn't do much else. AdWords Express was not built to share or have others accessing it... but that can certainly change in the future.

Have you tried simply printing the whole page by chance? Google Chrome will work best with anything related to AdWords Express.

Or if you have it linked to Analytics you can generate some level of reports there.

Please note that I do understand your viewpoint and will keep your feature request in mind with my next meeting and get it to the team for consideration.

Kind Regards,

James

Hi David,

You could take some screenshots and share those.

Or you could setup a AdWords Manager Account and add the client as a user to their AdWords Express account. AdWords Express is not set to allow users to be added or edited easily...and the general way this is accomplished is to set up a free AdWords Manager Account and then connect the AdWords Express account to it.

All the Best,

James

Thanks.  I've linked the accounts.  I can see a red ribbon at the top of the page that Go to the AdWords Express dashboard to see your active ads. - Click "View" to see your ads

This takes me back to my Adwords Express Dashboard but doesn't really solve the problem.  All I want to do is print out the dashboard report and share it with my client.  Google has gone out of there way to make this difficult.  I use Fireshot and Awesome Screenshot to pull screen grabs but neither of them work very well on the Adwords Express Dashboard.

A simple Print button on the AdWords Express dashboard would solve this problem.  Any chance this request could be submitted as a product enhancement request for a future release?

Thanks for your help James!

Yes - I tried printing it in Google Chrome.  It only prints the first page and the printout looks distorted.

I was able to link it to my Google Analytics account (not exactly sure how)   The whole process really needs  work - data is missing, campaign names are represented as long cryptic character strings instead of campaign names.  I 'll plan to reach out to Google phone support on this one.

I love Google Adwords Express ...I found it produces much better results than Ad Words for my smaller clients.

Hi David,

You are very welcome. I did send the info up stream for consideration by the developer team.

Cheers,

James,

How do I print a simple report for my Google Adwords Express ads?

I agree with David, Google has gone out of its way to make this impossible, short of doing multiple Print Screen(s).  No PRINT button. No DOWNLOAD button. Chrome will not print the whole page.  Sophisticated full-page screen shot apps get near nothing.

Hi Guy,

At this time, I am not able to suggest anything more than what is listed here by David or yourself. I did present it to the AdWords Express as a needed feature and also discussed at length all of the reporting features needed in AdWords Express. The meeting was well received and I do expect something to be added in the near future (timeline unknown).

If I come across a work-around, I will post it here.

Kind Regards,

James
