Hi There,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

If you mean adding your own keywords, it is not supported with AdWords Express. In AW Express you can select the most relevant and specific category that matches your business offerings, and the rest is taken by the system. However, if you don't find a suitable category, you can fill in this form to request one.

If you need more control in terms of keywords, my advice would be to go for AdWords. It will give you more control and a host of other features for your advertising campaigns.

All the best!

Thanks

What about in regular AdWords, you answered the question for AWExpress but not AdWords. I would prefer not to change my AW type as it seems to delete all my adds just to find out AdWords can not do this as well.

Hi Brian,

You can very add your own keywords if you are not using AdWords Express. Simply Go to the Campaign from the top navigation, then click your campaign name in the left panel, next click ad group, and Keywords tab. Once you are click +Keywords button. It must be red it color. This is where you can add your keywords.

Tell me if it does not help.

Thanks
Ratan Jha

I guess that makes sense.  Refer me to the more expensive campaign.  I can't really afford the ADwords Express so Google in effect is getting blood out of a turnip! Limiting my ability to increase traffic to my website is not very nice and makes me wonder if I should have taken this route at all.
