Do you charge only when someone clicks on my ad?
Hi @James T,
AdWords Express is a pay per click advertising system. When someone clicks, you get charged for that action, which is based on your account settings.
AdWords is a more robust pay per click advertising system. Along with charges for clicks, you can utilize a cost-per-thousand viewable bids (vCPM), which will allow you to bid for impressions instead of clicks. When 50% of your display ad is viewable on screen for one full second (or longer)... two seconds for video ads, you are charged.
If you can tell us more about which system you are using and what types of ads and campaigns you are running, we can dig further into things with you.
All the Best,
