Hi Google Pros,

please, help. My web site settings require me to insert a header code. Where do I find it?

And what is  google analytics id? Where do I find it in Google Analytics? Is it the Tracking ID? Or an Account ID?

Thank you so much! I am so lost in this world of coding!

Hi @Dinara G

Congratulations on getting your company online and employing Google Analytics to learn how it is performing.

From a quick inspection of your website (see below), it looks as if Google Analytics is setup and active. I actually see two different accounts added: 1) UA-64688509-1 (which should be yours) and 2) UA-58695071-1 (which belongs to xprs.imcreator.com).

All of the code below is the code within your header, so you should be good to go. Have you checked Google Analytics for traffic info?

Further, your website's platform offers this how-to for adding Google Analytics, just in case you want to verify your actions when you added it.

If you are using Google Chrome for your web browser, I recommend you install the Google Tag Assistant plugin, which will verify that the Analytics code is active and working properly. This is a Google product, so it is safe to install from that source. I really love this tool and know it will bring peace of mind to you, too.

Thanks for being a Google Small Business member here and please do let us know if you need further assistance.

Happy Friday!

- James

Hello, @Dinara G, welcome to the community! I'm sure our Advisors can definitely help you figure out what needs to be in your header code. What website builder or host are you using?

You can learn more about implementing Google Analytics on your website by visiting this section of the Analytics Help Center. This step-by-step guide also includes a section with host-specific tutorials for major website builders such as Wix, Weebly, Shopify and more.

If you require more technical assistance, I recommend you visit the Official Google Analytics Community; their experts will definitely be able to help you out.
