How do I add a donations button to My website

I don't want to charge for My on-line Sunday School/Christian Education but I would love to be able to accept donations without giving My address out. Is there a way of doing this?

Hi @Denise A,

Adding a donations button is a great idea and something some guests will certainly click and give.

In order to add a button to click and give to your website, you need to find a third-party provider that will collect and process the donation. They will provide you with the code that will get added to the website by your webmaster or person that edits/manages your website. If you take a look at this Google search, you will find some of the well-known services that offer this.

Please take a look and see if this is what you are wanting.

Kind Regards,

James

I have worked with a couple non profits and PayPal works pretty well to collect donations and they have buttons pre-configured for the purpose.

Another thing you might want to look at is Amazon Smile. That is a program through which, every time someone who is participating shops on Amazon, Amazon then donates a portion of their profit to your charity. I have set this up for non profits as well.

Paypal for non profits: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/donations
