"Modified broad" PLA?

Hi all,

Im running PLA, and the results are pretty good. I just now learn that you can pull a keyword report the same way you can with regular ads 9doh) - and I see that many terms are generic and do not cnvert. I do see the keywords tab in the interface, allowing for both negative keywords as well as regular keywords. Can I add a modifier as a keyword? For instance, can I add "+red" to my tennis shoe PLAs if all my tennies shoes are red? Or in my case, can I add a brand name to make sure it's included and not matched to regular, more generic search terms?

One way would be to add exact negatives, but that would take forever.

Thanks in advance!

Hi jannerbasse,

You can't use BMM as a negative. You can use broad, phrase and exact match. Phrase match may be what you are looking for. If the non-converting search queries are triggering on a broad match term, you might consider using BMM on that term.

Adding negatives can take a lot of time, but it is necessary, especially if you are using broad match.

Best of Luck!

Pete

Hi,

I want to add BMM as a positive, does that make sense?
