"INVALID_PREDICATE_ENUM_VALUE: ACTIVE" error

Hi everyone,

I'm having an error message using Russell Savage's script for automated ad testing :

http://www.freeadwordsscripts.com/2013/12/automated-creative-testing-with.html

I'm getting the "INVALID_PREDICATE_ENUM_VALUE: ACTIVE" error.

Russell already made the ACTIVE/ENABLED corrections, so what else is there to check ?

Thanks for your help !

Johann.

Hi Johann, the script as it appears in the URL you pasted does not appear to include any test against the term ACTIVE.  Can you provide a line number for the error and a few lines of code either side from your own version of the script?

As you probably know, the error message you're receiving occurs when you test a field for a value that is not one of it's predicated options.  e.g. AdGroupStatus can only be "UNKNOWN", "ENABLED", "PAUSED", or "REMOVED" so if you included an AWQL condition for "AdGroupStatus = 'ACTIVE'" you'd see this error message.

It looks a lot like you have a condition like this somewhere in your script.

Hi Jon,

**bleep**, I feel stupid, I could swear I checked that thoroughly, but there was still a CampaignStatus=ACTIVE...
Replaced it and it's all good !
Sorry to have bothered you for nothing, thanks anyway for your answer

Hey no problem Johann, I can't count the number of times I've done something similar.  Sometimes you need to ask someone else to give your mind a break.

Do come back to us with any more questions.
