If I exclude an auto placement like "Mayoclinic.com" the conv are bad, however, some exact url's from Mayclinic.com are good and I add those exact placements to managed placements.  Will the excluded "auto" mayoclinic.com prevent my exact urls in managed placements from showing ads?

Sincerely,

 Fred

Hi Nilsson,

If you exclude the main url, then you can not target its internal pages.. Smiley Happy Though excluding its internal pages won't affect your main url targeting.

For example if you exclude www.xyz.com then you will be no longer to target this website or any pages of this website but if you exclude www.xyz.com/aboutus.html then only on this page your ads won't appear.. rest all pages will work for you.

I hope you understand.

Thanks!

Thanks,  had a feeling that was the case. I also wish I could exclude the standard version and leave the auto optimized version and vice versa. Sometimes a site will have good standard numbers and bad optimizer or the other way around and you have to accept both or neither...

Thanks for your answer...
