Broad Match Modifier(BMM) is used to reach more people than the phrase match and better control than broad match. Here we can use + symbol in the word, that means the word which has + sign, if users searches the keyword with that word then your ads appear in this word.

For example:- red +shoes, if a users put the query like white shoes for office, then your ads will appear.As the word shoes is in the users query.
