hello room

i currently have campaigns in 10 cities (ppc) i have a low quality score and no matter what i try to do it wont go up to help improve the cpc, ive tried developing different ad groups and eliminating keywords with low ctr ect.....

Im wondering if i develop 10 different landing pages for the 10 different cities im in will this help very much???

As i currently only have 2 landing pages for all campaigns, which are not very relevant to the cities im advertising in.

could someone give me there thoughts and let me no how much by creating seperate landing pages will help me

It depends, what does the info bubble say about your "landing page experience" for the top keyword ? Is it bellow average ?

If for all keywords the "landing page experience" is average or above average, you don't need other landing pages.

Are you using negative words lists ?

Have you restricted the search campaign to visitors from those 10 cities ?

Are you monitoring actual "search queries" , the phrases typed by users of search engines that trigger your keywords ? ( in order to gather negative words )

Are you using phrase matches , exact matches or broad match modifiers ?

hi there thanks for reply, im not too sure about most things you say, i no that i use phrase matches, im a real novice to what im actually doing but think im going in the right direction slowly, im paying on average £2.00 - £4.00 per click and im averaging position 4-5

if you could ask me same questions in laymens terms id probably be able to tell you :-)

About the use of negative words

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2453972?hl=en

Some pointers on search terms ( phrases typed by people that are paired with your keywords)

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2756257

For example if someone searches "cheap hp inkjet printer for under 100 pounds"

You can eliminate showing the ads by adding negative word "cheap" or you could use a long keyword like "hp inkjet printer for under" instead of just "hp inkjet".

The longer the keyword, the cheaper it becomes, because it has a lower traffic.

If landing page is rated by the adwords system with "average" or "above average", you won't make a difference.

You can improve the landing page to drive more sales , by building the design and text to give a potential client exactly what he/she expects to find, like a phone number, a list of prices, a location of the business, a portofolio, etc.

Think like your client also, when you copywrite your ads.

It will help you to add extensions like phone , location and sitelinks for starters ( there are also more extensions). They make your ads larger and push the other ads lower on page . More info here

I am just a beginner at this stage, i use the forum to learn for the Individual Certification. It is better the search for answers for real world problems than just reading hundreds of pages of text. I've managed some accounts since 5 years ago, but too simple ones. The public Q&A  is also a good way to build prestige for when I'll need to prove my background to a client.

Hi Neil, please don't use this Community to seek professional help; the purpose here is to provide a user-to-user discussion platform where we can help each other with problems.  If you need professional help then you are, of course, welcome to search for it outside of this Community and I would suggest you start with the partners list:

https://adwords.google.com/partnersearch/

rather than just us TCs (and any TC that disagrees with me will probably beat me for saying so).

Communities that allow such promotion and requests tend to dissolve into a worthless buying and selling market which we're keen to avoid here.
