Hi there AdWords community!

I wanted to inquire whether it is OK to add in dynamic keyword insertion in the following way:

Social Workers Needed For London Jobs. Contact HCL Today.

So in the middle of the copy? Would this show in the ad display?

Thanks in advance.

Jeet.

Hi HCL,

Yes it would show, but given your example I do not see what keyword will show there. Remember that your DKI still needs to abide by character limits. So if the keyword to be inserted causes that copy to exceed character limits it will not be inserted (in most cases).

It has been seen that character limitations have been exceeded through DKI before but these are the exceptions to the rule so do not bank on them.

Hope this helps

Hi HCL,

You can add the keyword insertion code with any component of your text ad: headline, description lines, display URL, or destination URL as long as they are under character limits.

For English here are character limits are

Headline: 25 characters

Description line 1: 35 characters

Description line 2: 35 characters

Display URL: 35 characters

Also not sure which part goes to which component in the ad you mentioned. It seems they are crossing the character limits.
