I want to dynamically insert the keyword that triggers my ad into my landing page, I use wordpress.  I've seen some PHP snippets around online but can't get them to work.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Adam

Hi Adam,
Yes, there is certainly a way to do it.

You need to add value tracking parameters to your destination URLs -https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2375447?hl=en

Then it's up to you to use the language of your choice to pull the parameters from your URL. PHP holds them in the $_GET super global.

Unfortunately, wordpress help to do this is a little beyond the scope of this forum I think. If you're coding it yourself, let me know and I can give you some help.

Finally, may I just say, that after YEARS of testing this, there is very little value (and indeed it can even hurt you) to doing this. Your time would be much better spent focusing on other areas.

Thanks Dave,

Your hint "$_GET super global" helped me lot.
