callout extension data confusing?

Hi,

I have enabled callout extensions to highlight our USP however the data statistics seems to be wrong.. the total cost doesn't seem to add up, see screenshot : http://awesomescreenshot.com/03e3mum784

Should that add up to €1015.86? Although that is not the current month's spend..... How can each callout have a unique € when it's not a link?

Thanks

Hi lianne,

The answer is fairly simple. The cost of each callout is not what you were charged for each one. It is simply the total cost of clicks that you received when that extension was present.

Now considering there can be up to 4 extensions present, let us assume that your ads always show 4 extensions. If you were charged $100 for clicks that month then each extension would reflect a cost of $100.

Does that make sense or do I need to try and explain a bit better?

It does make sense now you've explained. Perhaps they should make it clearer on the stats table..

Thanks Clynton

Glad I could help!

It is a little confusing in presentation. But I guess that's why the forum is here Smiley Tongue.
