Hi  buddies,

i got this question: i have a extreme high average view frequency recently.

one is 5.6 for a ad for all devices, other one is higher 11  for a mobile optimized ad. I wonder why this happens. i never been such high before.

it's super weird that i doubt adword has some counting problem. one of ads, 1K+ views, showing all coming from one unique viewer! that's not possible!

Hi Sunny,

Can you share a screen grab of your data?

Best,
Amy

Thanks, Sunny. Keep in mind this report is only available for display and Remarketing campaigns, not search, so it's pretty normal for a user to see your ad multiple times. 11 is fairly high, I would probably cap that unless it is performing well for you.

Still, you mentioned one instance where one user saw the ad over a thousand times? That wouldn't be considered normal - I've never seen that before, so I would be interested to hear what Google says about that.

Like u mentioned above, you can set frequency caps in the settings of your display and Remarketing campaigns. I would take a look at performance first and then decide where to cap your ads.

Hope this helps!
