I find it interesting why adjusting the bids are not possible for all devices. I can only change that of mobile devices. Not for desktop nor tablet.google shopping campaign.jpg

those device bid-adjustment choices have been that way for quite some time,
google's hypothesized determination after analyzing the related data is that
there is little difference in user-behavior with respect to tables and desktops,
and the overall analysis, conclusions, and potential for changing the choices,

have been rather extensively discussed here in the forums and elsewhere.

Hello Emmanuel,

you cannot set bid adjustment for computers and tablet devices, only mobile devices can have adjusted bid. This is definitely something Google can work on in the future, because right now device usage is unbalanced across the world. Somewhere there are 80% mobile, 20% desktop + tablets, somewhere it is exact opposite. Somewhere it might be balanced, but one can work much better than the other. I know this option is already avaliable on other Ads platforms so this has to be just a matter of time, before Google will implemented.

Thanks for the response and completely agree with what you are saying. Even niche business has different device targeting.

Would indeed be good if Google makes this available.

Thanks for the reply.

Well I will have to disagree. with that opinion. Each of my clients have different data conclusions.
The CTR and Conversion on desktop can be higher versus Smartphones or visa versa. Depending on the Niche of the business. One of my clients sells luxury goods for vehicles and has a higher conversion on desktop. While on tablets is very poor. But on smartphones its good.

While another clients sells luxury apparel, here the smartphone has a higher conversion.

Even going deeper if the website for mobile devices has poor performance, but we don't want to eliminate it all together than changing the percentage can have a positive outcome.

I guess this can be debated for a long time. All I'm saying is that for me personally I see a big difference and would like the ability to change this.
