Hi Daniel M,

It takes a little time for your ad to show up. A new account needs to be approved, new ads need approval, in some cases your keywords will need approval. You should be all set in a day or two.

Budget: my recommendation is simple and almost always the same--do not budget more than you are willing to lose. When you find success, you can increase your budget at that point.

Best of Luck!

Pete

Hello;

In addition to Pete's answer: you can preview your ad using the ad preview tool;

Do not  search for your ad  on your google domain (e.g google.com). This saves a cookie on your machine, that may bias the search results.

1) It depends on what's sort of campaign you selected and it may take up to

4 working days for some Ads to get approved.

If you are running Ad for festival or holidays and make sure you schedule

at least 4 days before that.

2) As the budget, I would suggest start from low budget such as $50 per day

and get yourself familiar with Google Adwords. You can always adjust your daily

budget after you found convertions generated from the Ad.

3) You can also connect your Google Adwords account with Google Analytics.

That will help you analyze customers online purchase behaviors / convertion paths as well.
