Dear All,

I read the post regarding the value tracking and I have tried to implement it on my URL to track the performance of the banner sets I have.

Therefore I added {creative}.

In my internal reporting a long number replaced that  {creative} but now I don t know which number correspond to which banner.

I hope I made myself clear…can you please help?

Thanks!

floriana

Hi floriana,

you can add or ad id in your image/banner ad cloumn and then check which number correspond to which banner.

I am not sure, its just a thought!

Thanks
Anchal

Hi Anchal,

I am not sure I understood. You are suggesting of adding a number to the image ad? where?

Thanks!

Hi Floriana,

As Anchal has suggested, you'll be able to find the number (Ad ID) in the 'Ads' tab of your AdWords account, and then match this number up to the number you're seeing in your reports.

Anchal has provided the steps for finding this number, but if you need any more help customizing the columns to see the Ad ID you can check this page which provides more detail: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2454071

Thanks Anchal for your input on this one!

Thanks Anchal!

I found and added the Id...but now I have another issue...there are too many unique values (I guess one for every ad of every banner set that I have). So over 50 values that I don t really need.

What I wished to measure was the performance of each banner set (its theme and copy)and not all of them together with their sizes.

Do you understand what I mean?

thanks!
