Two different campaigns with same keywords but different location

Our account has two campaigns, both targeted at servers set to English. One campaign is targeted at the US and Canada, the other is targeted at the remaining 206 countries in the world. In each campaign there is an identically named ad group that has but one identical exact match keyword, and each ad group has the exact same ads. However the quality score for the keyword in the US campaign is 7 and the quality score for the same keyword in the other campaign it is 5. Does anyone know why the quality scores are different for this same keyword in the two different ad groups?

Hi Steve,

Languages, terminologies, interests and other factors would certainly account for the differences. You would want to research more and create more precise ad groups for various regions.

Kind Regards,

James

As well as a dedicated landing page with  local a number for each region. English is also a matter of culture....
