Targeting display campaigns ONLY to tablets
I've just accidentally come across to a funny solution when you need to target only tablets (excluding mobile and desktop). Maybe some of you don't know about it and think it would be useful.
So if for some reason you'd like to target your display campaign for tablets only, you need to do two things:
1. Set mobile bid adjustment "decrease 100%" - that way you exclude mobile devices, leaving just desktops and tablets.
2. In campaign settings, you go to Advanced settings -> Devices -> Edit and select all operating systems you need. This way you restrict the campaign to showing just for smartphones and tablets, but oh - you have already excluded smartphones! By the way, you'll see a notice saying "When you select advanced mobile and tablet options, you opt out of desktops and laptops."
Needless to say, this practice is not commonly necessary to use, but in some cases it's worth giving it a chance.

Hi @mildaster interesting. Presumably if you were to build an audience list based upon visitors from this Campaign, you could then use that list as an exclusion in a combination for a Desktop/Tablet Campaign and end up with a Desktop only target... (or at least, people who've not used a tablet).
