I have not been effective at attracting the right people to my site. After much soul searching I feel my target audinece is people in crisis. In fact my idea for the add title is excell in crisis. Any ideas how I might target more effectively?

Is there competition in the marketplace?  e.g., are there other advertisers in your space vying for position and ad spend?

How long have they been advertising for the same key word phrases?

It's probably safe to say if it's running over 90 days and ads have been showing 90% of that time it's probably a decent kwp.

are your ads actually showing up in search?

how many imressions are you receiving or have you received for the ads in question...at least 200 impressions?

have you tried different ad copy with different calls to action; A/B split testing?

The first thing I check when I see an account with low CTR and no ROI is keywords.

Do you use broad match? Have you run a search terms report?

Most probably

1) Run a search terms report

2) Add more keywords, with different match types (same keywords with different match types is a good idea)
