Hi,

Can I apply a suppression list to make sure that some of my campaigns are pure acquisition segments only and don't end up retargeting some segments I already have in my database?

Hello, Madlie M. If I understood correctly what you want, and if you create a remarketing list with people who already converted (on your website), then yes, you can use that audience as a negative audience.

Here's how to do it: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454064?hl=en

Hope it helps.

Thanks but I was after the opposite. I was trying to suppress people who are already converted in Adwords before showing them the ad.

Without registering the conversion first and passing it to AdWords somehow?

The only way - that I can think of -  to achieve that (and I think without a 100% success rate) is to attempt a negative audience from a list of existing e-mails (Customer Match, more on this here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6379332?hl=en&ref_topic=6296507 ).
