Hey Alex,

I dont think it matters in Google Adwords. If you want to work on Organic (SEO) then it's useful.

My Thoughts.

Hi Alex,

I am not sure how much importance it has (with or without www.) when you add a placement.

But when you exclude a placement it makes some significant differences.

Please read under ' Formatting placement exclusions for sites'

My 2 cents

Its depends on the placement domain you targeting. Let say your placement site is www.example.com. so when you add this as a placment, ads will show on all avialable places on www.example.com. what happen if domain has subdomains like blog.example.com

If you add your placement with www then its only applicable to the puticuler domain.

If you add without www, it will show on all the places including subdomains.

So you have to choose which option is better for your target criteria.
