I am about to setup a dynamic re marketing campaign, but before setting up this campaign I have some queries. Please answer them to resolve my queries.

1.I have heard about the custom parameters in dynamic remarketing code, what are those and how these can be implemented?

2. I have already have GTM on website so can I fire custom parameters from GTM?

Hi 01saurav01,
When using dynamic remarketing you should include the google_tag_params tag to provide additional dynamic parameters to the remarketing tag.

var google_tag_params = {
parameter1: 'abc123',
parameter2: 29.99

/* */
var google_conversion_id = 123456789;
var google_custom_params = window.google_tag_params;
var google_remarketing_only = true;
/* */

</script>

<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt=""

GTM Tags for Dynamic R-M

If you are doing dynamic remarketing you still need to create a new "AdWords Remarketing" tag in Google Tag Manager but you need a way to provide the custom parameters to the tag. To do this we recommend that you use Google Tag Manager's dataLayer to define a google_tag_params variable - full details can be found in the HERE

Using the dataLayer still requires you to make changes to your site even if you have already deployed Google Tag Manager. If this is undesirable then there are two approaches that offer a way to work around this restriction that will allow you to extract data from your site's pages for use with dynamic remarketing.
