Selling in Amazon

If you have a site and you want to sell your products in Amazon, should the content of each product be different on both sites? Or can you copy the content from your site to the Amazon site or other sites without penalty from Google?

Hi lorenzo,

Unique content is rewarded. Duplicate content is penalized. For best results, I'd recommend unique copy on each web site.

Best of Luck!

@Lorenzo,

While @petebardo is right, you probably don't have the time to write your own content for both sites. Additionally, Amazon usually has their own product information if you are submitting a standard SKU. That being said, I would recommend prioritizing your own site over Amazon for where you want to put investment into writing content.
