Search impression share lost due unknown reason

Hi

I have lot's of keywords in exact match which receive only 60% of impression share.

Impression share lost due rank for this keywords is very small - around 0-5%

Quality score - 9/10

There are no campaigns where traffic is limited by budget.
Average position for these keywords is between 1.1 and 1.5

Do you have any ideas? I want to get as much traffic as possible as these keywords have such a good conversion rate.

Cheers,
Alexey

hi Alexey,

2 things come to mind. Firstly, just because a camapaing does not say "limited by budget' does not mean that you have enough budget to show up for every singel impression. So perhaps increase the allocated budget for these campaign.

The other thing that comes to mind, is are you running any form of automated bidding? For example, conversion optimiser, as this may be limiting the auctions that you enter into as AdWords has identified them as not viable auctions for conversions given your account history and the users history.

Hope this helps

Search impressions lost could be a misleading metric since it covers all "potential" impressions which also includes close variants  and synonyms of the keyword;
A better metric would be exact mach impressions share. What's your  status there?

Clynton,
Thanks for your insights - I am using manual bidding + flxible strategy to keep my keywords in top 3 so it might be a reason why I am not getting enough traffic. Maybe my bids are just too small for some search queries to be displayed in top 3.

MosheTLV, sorry for my mistake in 1st letter - I was looking exact mach impressions share for these keywords.
