Quality Score and Landing page Quesition

Hey, I hope this question could be solved soon, please help me~Woman Wink

I have optimized my ad account recently, I added some negative word to BM and PM keywords groups, like adding [keywords] to "keywords" and keywords, I found that the impression declined, but the CTR didn't increase after two days, but the worse is that quality score declined too of some keywords which belong to the campaigns I have optimized, and the pop-up reveal that the landing page experience is below average.

Q: Do I change this to affect my landing page?

Q: What should I do now?

Thanks for any help!

Carrie

Hi Carrie
Welcome to the community.

What you're experiencing isn't unusual and by the sounds of it, it seems that it was simply a coincidence that your Qs dropped after your keyword changes. You definitely did the right thing with the keywords. Fortunately though, Google has told you exactly where the problem is. Your landing page.

Please follow the guidelines here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2404197?hl=en and work towards making the experience better for your visitors.

If you would like to share your landing page URL, we might be able to give you some more specific pointers on what might help.

Finally, it might be worth noting that unless you're violating a landing page policy completely, landing page quality score is actually quite easy to fix and has the added benefit of usually increasing your conversion rates and creating super happy customers!

Let me know if you're happy to share your URL and we can go from there.

Hi Carrie
This looks like an affiliate site or an affiliate portion of the main site.
Have a read here: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6008942

I'd also have a read of this; https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6020954?hl=en

It's possible and likely that other affiliates, and even the main site itself, is using AdWords and AdWords only allows one ad for a single URL in any given auction.

Please note that it's unlikely that you'll be able to use AdWords as an affiliate if that is indeed your business model in this situation.

Try doing a search for "affiliate" in the search box above and you'll see that while your affiliate promotion isn't as "blatant" as some others, it's still an affiliate model nonetheless (unless I've gotten this completely wrong).

Hi Carrie
Apologies for the delay getting back to you.

There was actually a problem with QS being reported at the time you logged this thread. There's a post about it on the official AdWords blog at the moment. Engineers are looking into it. I experienced it myself after I replied to your thread initially.

Can you confirm if you're still having this issue?
