Placement exclusion specifics

Hi all,

I have 5 methods to exclude some placements in one of my campaigns.

They are:
1. Excluded placements list - Sites with flash games

2. Excluded keywords - game, games, fun etc.

3. Excluded site options - In Game

4. Excluded single placements (out of exclusion list) - games2girls.com ; gamesheep.com etc.

5. Excluded topics - games

Question 1: Which of these exclusion targeting methods works better and is there any problem that they work together in one campaign?
Question 2: Why when i have all this excluding methods in my campaign, similar sites (games) are still there... is there any problem with combination of all these methods?

Hi SMSEM,

Thanks for your questions. Q1 - In my opinion, I wouldn't say neither is better nor worse than the other they are just different. Q2 - Even though you are excluding "games" the other sites may also target other things similar to games as well that you haven't blocked.

Hope that helps.
