Hey experts,

I have set up a GDN campaign targeting Russia, ladies fashion. But the display ads only get few impressions without any clicks when the ad passed the review a day ago.

Targeting settings:

Device:  Mobile, tablet and PC

Demography:  Female

Much appreciations on your answers.

BR,

Justin

Hi,

If the impressions are low, your bids can be a reason. Try increasing your bids and see the results.

Here are some ways you can optimize your Display Network campaigns - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2549129?hl=en

Hope this helps

Hey Deepak

Thanks so much for replying to me. Actually I have checked that my ad avg position is 1, so I do not think the bid is a problem. By any chance, do you know any other reasons for this ?

thanks

Justin

Hi @Zhengyi L,

Is your targeting quite restricted?

are you using target and bid setting with multiple targeting?

Are you using the ads in all the available sizes for maximum exposure with limited targeting?

Hi Justine,

Average position may be less useful in optimizing for performance on the Google Display Network because of the diversity of websites on this network. On the Display Network it is more about winning the auction to get the available ad slot.

I would still recommend try increasing your bid in small increments and see the result.
