Numbers and special characters in keywords

I have found that if a searcher uses product sizes in their query( such as 1/2", 1/4", 1-1/2", etc.), then they are much more likely to bounce off our landing page.  The reason is either our sizes are too small, or they can't buy from us because we sell wholesale only.  So I would like to design a special AdGroup for numbers and size characters.  Then I also need to exclude those keywords from the other adgroups.  Anyone have a suggestion for the best way to enter the keywords?  WIll they even work since google doesn't show the slashes and quotes in the query matches?

Hi and welcome to the Community.

As you can probably tell from the lack of replies, this is a great question to which there may not be an easy answer - I certainly can't think of a definite one off the top of my head.

I'll escalate this and we'll see if we can find an engineer somewhere who's prepared to shed some light on the issue.
