In Shared Library when I set a negative placement list I am not able to add some URLs such as the following link in brackets (www.collective-evolution.com/2014/10/18/doctor-suggests-that-marijuana-can-protect-you-from-ebola/)

I get the following error:

These entries could not be added due to the following reasons:
Placement URLs must be provided in a valid URL format.

Hi Sheikh T,

You will need to put the URLs in Campaign Placement exclusion list instead of the keywords negative list.
I hope this solves your problem.

Hi Sheikh,

You can only add/exclude URLs that are two-level deep.

As the URL you want to extend is more than two level deep, it is showing the error.

Check an earlier thread on the same subject below.

https://www.en.adwords-community.com/t5/Advanced-Features/URL-Exclusion-ERROR/td-p/62186

Check the formatting placement exclusions for sites part - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454012?hl=en

Check the performance of the website in question across all your campaigns.

If the performance is not good, then you can add the domain in your shared library 'Campaign placement exclusions' list.

Hope this helps,

Deepak
