Negative keywords blocking targeted keywords

Hi everyone,

I'm having a small issue with one keyword that I don't know how to solve:

- I have this negative keyword: handbag (broad match)

- I have this keyword +brand handbag (broad match modifier)

But the second one is not showing due to the last one.

My question is: is there any way to have ads showing for +brand handbag but not for any other handbag-related search?

Thanks!

Hi Ana M,

I second Moshe's Suggestion. If i want only brand name handbag to trigger my ad, I would prefer use it in exact match type. If not, then you need to add all other brands in broad negative at adgroup level.

May I know why you want keyword in BMM and want only this keyword to trigger. When you add + sign before brand name, it will show only for brand name and its variations such as mispells etc.

Thanks

Hi there;
I would not use broad match in this case but rather "exact match" and specific brand names.

Thanks a lot MosheTLV but that's not exactly what I was asking...

My question: is there any way to have ads showing for this query: +brand handbag, but not for any other query having the word handbag on it?

Anyone has any idea? Thanks a lot!

Thanks!

It's because handbag is triggered for lots of KWs and I only want people actually looking for handbag plus my brand to show... I don't know if I'm explaining my self... :-/

As @Neha Gupta  and I explained the best way to do that is using exact match.

Try this setting: +handbag +brand
