Multiple remarketing tags (from different accounts) on the same site

Hi!

 

We have a customer with two domains (A and B) and two AdWords accounts (A and B) linked to one MCC account.

 

The product data is extracted from a "multi-customer merchant center account" (directly linked to the MCC account) generating traffic for Shopping campaigns in A and B (product feeds from the "daughter accounts in the merchant center are directly linked to the Shopping campaigns in the daughter accounts A and B).

 

We also established consolidated conversion tracking (directly in the MCC account).

 

Now we have set up dynamic remarketing tags:

 

AdWords Account A => Dynamic RM Tag A

AdWords Account B => Dynamic RM Tag B

 

The domains of the customer are not "completely" seperated from each other - they have a common shopping basket based on domain A, but everything else (products, categories) are distributed between the two domains in a perfect way.

 

Domain A: home, searchresults, product, category, other, cart, purchase

Domain B: home, searchresults, product, category, other

 

All products of A and B are mutually exclusive.

 

After the customer is done shopping on Domain B and enters the shopping cart, he is transferred to domain A, because the path from basket to checkout is only on domain A, where he can purchase products from A+B in a single convenient step.

 

Now my question: Is it possible to have 2 remarketing codes directly following each other one a single page?

Hi Bernhard L,

You certainly can do that. The re-marketing code works with a 3rd party cookie, so it doesn't matter what domain it goes on.

You certainly can do that. The re-marketing code works with a 3rd party cookie, so it doesn't matter what domain it goes on.

Also, have you tried exploring the Google tag manager by any chance? It can make life easier for you I think.
