Hi Vaishali,

I will recommend to you that create two landing page:

One is mirror of your website - This will help your user to remember your brand. Please use color combination of your website for landing page don't use all the element on landing page. Please read option 4.

Second you can create a new layout landing page which different from your website layout

Lets speak the data which is better for you. As you know this called Landing Page A/B testing.

But you should keep in mind during creating the both type of landing page:-

1.Use Strong Headlines - Good landing pages use action-oriented language, beginning with the headline.

2.Bold Call to Action - Your headline, the call to action (CTA) is the most important element of your landing page. Minor changes to your headline and CTA can impact your conversion rate significantly, and these two elements normally undergo the most amount of testing in landing page optimization.

3. Registration Form: Only ask for information you actually need.

4.Get Rid of Unnecessary Elements

Your landing page should not mirror your website, so begin by eliminating all distracting elements. Strip your landing page of any unnecessary navigation, sidebars and footers. A single sidebar or footer can be used for any testimonials you include, but nothing else. Similarly, the only navigation options should be a Submit button, for capturing user details, and an opt-out link for users not interested in your offer. Both the Submit button and the opt-out link should redirect to a specific page on your company website. Only use essential off-page links; these could include Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy or social sharing text or buttons.

5.Use a Guiding Layout

The sole purpose of any landing page is always to convert your visitor into a lead or customer, and the layout should always guide your visitor towards this. Your copy can be hot, tight, even award worthy, but if the layout of your landing page is confusing your conversions will still suck. Short paragraphs, bullet points and subheadings increase readability by making it easier for your visitors to understand what to look at, and in what order. When designing web pages, your layout options aren’t as limited as in print, but you should always be mindful of how people read.

I hope this will help you.

Thanks,

Anand

Hi Vaishali,

It doesn't matter whether you use a single page website or services based different webpages as adwords landing page.
The thing matter is the landing page should have the relevant content to the ads and keywords in the adwords account to improve the landing page experience.
No landing page is perfect, that's why it is recommended to perform A/B testing of landing pages.
The enquiry form position, theme color, banners can change the users mind.
If you are using single page website then make sure that there are not too much scrolls (reduce some on mobile view), use CTA at the bottom of the page also to redirect the users again to the enquiry form.

If goal is lead generation then use the form as well along with the from in contact us tab and highlight the form anyway as its the main section where you want the users.

Hi Vaishali,

It will hardly make any difference, whether you have single page website or multiple page website. Since your goal is to capture as much as leads you can. You should better have multiple landing pages with relevant information what user is looking for with a simple form and nice call to action. Just test or take care of following elements in your landing pages.

1. Theme of the landing page. Color, Design and graphics.

2. Relevancy in terms of services or info to the user.

3. Keep Necessary elements in the form as required for your business. i.e Name, phone or email_id.

4. Test Short call to actions (CTA) not more than 3 words.

5. Test different color for Submit buttons.

6. Test different form location on the landing page.

7. Provide Support Phone numbers on the landing page.

8. Test the load time of the landing page. Your page should load as fast as it can.

9. Last but not the least, mention offers or promotions if your have for your services.

Hope this will help you in capturing more leads. All the Best!

Best,

Pushpendra Singh

Thanks for the solution Archit and Anand.

At the moment we can't build two landing pages for A/B testing. I can only have one. So what would be the best option to go ahead with. How i make sure that user sign up and doesn't leave the page without filing form after getting the information. Because on lading page we have limited information and on mirror website we have lot of information. So will it distract the user from signing up the form?

Hi Vaishali,

I will recommend to use landing page with limited information.

I have already suggested (about Mirror site) that too many information and links will confuse the user and user will opt out for reading the other stuff. You can read option 4.

Thanks,
Anand
