Maximize conversion bidding strategy

Can we apply "Maximize Conversion" bidding strategy right from the start of new campaign?

 

Or it should be manual CPC and the "Maximize conversion" once we have couple of conversions in account.

Hi @Amruta P,

 

Though you can implement it right from the beginning of the campaign but I won't recommend.

As all the smart bidding strategies work with historical performance and if there is no history then the results may not be as per your expectations.

Hi,

 

Regarding this increased max conversion - google non-profits have been notified of this recently.

 

How does it really help non-profits adwords grantees? because non-profits  (as stated by Google) can never be above paid advertisers - we can only bid against other non-profits - so surely this just means Google is making the non-profits bid more against one another thus using their budget quicker.
