Is it ok to target both country and province at my Targeted locations. For example if i target the UK country, and in the same campagin i target England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, as provinces, would it work perfectly or google will consider them the same?!

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello Hamdi F,

If you'd already have campaign that targets UK as whole and then campaign that targets only one of the provinces of UK, then you target two same parts of country with two different campaigns. That means whenever ads from these two campaigns were in the auction, one of these would win and other ad would lose, get worse rank and you would have to pay more and more.

Hi Hamdi,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

You can if you want, but it's unnecessary. If you are targeting entire UK, your ads become eligible to appear across UK, including all provinces that come under UK. There's no need at all to target them separately.

@Alex Ander  first of all you cannot target multiple locations in one campaign. Did you mean something else?

Thanks

Thanks @Ratan-Jha for heads up.

Yes I expressed myself a little bit differently than I intended to.
