There are a lot of keywords with status as eligible, but no impressions. What can i do to get visitors in.

The Quality Score is above 7

 the other parameters are

Expected clickthrough rate: Average
Ad relevance: Average
Landing page experience: Above average

Please give me a better way so that i can get impressions & clicks for these set of keywords.

Thanks
Arun

As far as my experience here, this might be those keywords having higher CPC and your Max CPC rather low. While other keywords in same groups or campaign having much lower CPC. Those keywords will generate imp. then click that lead your daily budget run out so quick that some keywores even have no chance to trigger impressions.
I often raise bids for those keywords
Look into keywords with low CPC and receive many imp. and clicks.
Lower bid of these low CPC keywords
Thats often work for me. However, in term of conversion optimization, we should look into other factors together Smiley Happy

Hi arun,
If you had recently set your campaign, wait for some time and check back later. It takes some time to get impressions and clicks.

Thanks and Regards
John Paul

Along with Jon Paul Sings advice. (wait bit)

Check your Preview Tool
( same spot you saw the but a link underneath those results per keyword)
Expected clickthrough rate: Average
Ad relevance: Average
Landing page experience: Above average

it will show you if your ad is running without any conflict for those keywords

You can also run a Diagnostics report

or the one I mentioned above Ad preview

Thanks for the reply Eric & Paul, but in my case the keywords are in the system for a while, more than 4 months at lease. Even though Google has labelled them Eligible there has been no activity as to make me believe that this can also be a low vol. search term.

Please let me know if there is another reason this happens.

have you run the diagnostic report and every thing is looking good, no conflicts?

Hi Arun,

I agree with Eric and Mai. Check the diagnostic report or the Ad Preview Tool to see if there is something preventing the keywords from serving (i.e. negative keyword conflict, ad rank, etc). You might need to increase the bids on the keywords in question to get them up and running.

Best of luck!
