Hi eijzinga,

This all I found:

"

Using Flash in your ad?

Not all devices support Flash. To help you reach customers using devices that don't support Flash, AdWords can create a non-Flash version of the ad for you.

Don’t see an option to preview a non-Flash version of your ad? Make sure your SWF file uses ActionScript 2.0 and avoid filters or blending if possible.

AdWords can convert Flash to HTML5, which can be viewed on most major desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. The converted ad may not be 100% identical to the Flash ad you created, so be sure to preview it before saving. Most shapes, embedded fonts, timeline animation, text, movie clips, buttons, and scripting are supported, but not filters or blending. The system automatically determines which version of your ad to show, based on the device that your customer is using."

My apologies if you've already seen this. I found no mention of uploading your own HTML5 banners. It just says it will convert your Flash to HTML5.

Best of Luck!

Pete

Hello and welcome,

Did you check the Image ads specifications and requirements as per the advertising policies:

http://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=176108

Also look at the different sizes and other specs in this reference: http://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722096?hl=en&

Hope that helps!

Pankaj

Thanks for your time,

but that's not an answer to my question.

I make Flash and image banners for years now and have seen the specs hundreds of times.

My question is: Is it possible to deliver HTML5 banners to AdWords instead of Flash.

And not only for mobile devices, but also for desktops.

Thanks for your reply!

When do you think it is possible to deliver HTML5 made bannersets? (Not converted but really made in HTML5)

Hi. But how can we upload the .zip file into adwords ?? It does not offer this possibility in Adwords user interface. the .zip format is not an option when you upload a banner
