Is it beneficial to try to make the ad image size as optimized (small) as possible?

Hi there,

I've been wondering lately if the actual size (in kilobytes) of the images I am uploading will make any difference in the performance of how quickly my ad shows.

I am aware that there is a limit of 150 kilobytes at the moment.. However, is there any benefits to trying to make the image as small as possible?

Thank you for your responses! Cheers.

Simple answer, no. Make  sure the banner has a  good resolution and attractive  design, within the 150kb

The system has no issue showing banners in this size on any publisher site.
