Increase Quality Score of Single Term

Our Scenario is different from usual Because we got good conversion in single word (We must retain Broad Modifier and Phrase)

How can we increase quality score of single word term

e.g

like i use Pictures (Broad Modifier) ,Pictures (Phrase) & Pictures (exact)

In fact Quality Score for Pictures (Exact) will increase while we write relevant ads and landing page

but For Broad Modifier and Phrase more terms will appear so it is impossible to write those ads

like

cat pictures

dog pictures

mountain pictures

same goes on

Although they are irrelevant but we got conversions from BM and PH on and off so we don't want to pause  these terms

Any tips to optimize these terms with example thanks

Hi @aamir k

You could use Search Term Report, to see which exact search terms those BMM and Phrase got you.
Then add the converting search terms as exact keywords with relevant ads. You could open new ad groups for them.

Also, you will find in the search term report all the irrelevant keywords your BMM and phrase captured, and you can add those as negative keywords, so to improve the relevancy of your future terms:

You will then get to the keyword-focused search terms report:

It's worth noting  here, that the predominant component of QS is CTR. And, the CTR for QS calculation is a bit different than the one shown on the UI.

For QS calculation, clicks are taken into account only when  the query exactly matches the keyword. In other words, if a query is matched to a broad match KW, ad is triggered and clicked, the click would be counted counted only if the query exactly matched the KW. (If the KW was marched to a synonym, the ad was triggered and clicked, this click would not be  not counted.)

Thanks for great advice

Actually we are continuously add globally negative terms specially for broad modifier and Phrase but still our quality score is not increasing

so can i conclude this ? for singular term quality score will be very low for BM and PH ? because CTR only increases when user see exact keyword in headline

Am i right ?

@aamir k;

If by saying "headline" you mean the search box (because the ad-text headline would be the same  as the keyword, only in DKI),  then  you are correct.

It is perhaps also worth mentioning that as an implication of what Moshe said about search terms identical to the keyword, you'll find that all matching options of the same keyword have the same quality score values. Their alignment, of course, may occasionally take some time.
