I Need Some Advice On Eliminating Wasted Clicks
I'm fairly new to Google Adwords. I do marketing for a Minnesota job shop that does business with manufacturers across the country. Currently, I am running two ad campaigns targeted at 7 different states. While I'm getting clicks from visitors in each of my targeted states, several of the search terms used included phrases such as "in Illinois" or "in Michigan" which obviously aren't getting me conversions. What can I do to eliminate these types of clicks without excluding these states from my geotargeting?
