How to find KW without any conversion or assisted conversions

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to find keywords in your account that don't lead to any direct conversions nor to any (or very few) assisted conversions.

Before I tried to combine the list of keywords that had no conversions in AW over let's say a 1 month period, and combined this list with the GA list of assisted conversions. If it turns out that this KW didn't receive any assisted conversions either, that would be a reason to delete those. (the assisted conversions report doesn't show KW unless they have at least 1 conversion or assisted conversion).

I now find that this is not a solid way to do, since the conversion attribution different for AW and GA.

Now I am trying to use the Search Funnel report from AdWords to get this list of 'useless' KW, but not sure how to do this..

Hi lsl,

Have you linked your AdWords account with your Analytics account? Once you do that, you'll be able to see Analytics-conversions inside AdWords, even on keyword-level.

Here's how: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1704341

And you're right in the difference between the two - one of the main differences is that the cookie expiration times are different.

Once they're linked, you'll be able to see conversions going forward on your keywords tab, just add the relevant conversion columns to the table.

Here's how: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1704341

Hope this helps! Smiley Happy

Best,
GDi
