This is a generic query, as there are a number of things to look at and improve. A few basic things would be:

 

Relevant traffic: This would decide your conversion rate, as an irrelevant user would certainly go back. Using themed ad groups, relevant keywords, match types, negatives would help you get relevant traffic. More info here.

 

Good ad position: Showing ads in a good position certainly has advantages, as a good position get the user's attention. Bidding appropriately is the key here. More info here.

 

Compelling ads: Attractive or compelling ads always help in getting a click. Despite good position, a relevant user may not click, if the ad isn't interesting or relevant. Ad text best practices here.

 

Good landing page: Landing page has a vital role in driving conversions, as it decides what a user would be doing after reaching your website. Landing page with crisp information and a clear call to action would any day perform better than a generic page with loads of info. More info here.

 

Ad Extensions: These would help you show more information along with ads. Based on the nature of your business, you can choose appropriate extensions and make best use of them. More info here.

 

When these basic things are in place, we can look for optimization areas based on reports and then start working on them to get better results.

Hi Sumanth,

Thanks for suggesting these steps which are very important for making effective campaigns that I understand about attractive or compelling add like pull and push marketing.

But in the way of attractive add seller has to give discounts & some other offer like one buy one get free, coupons and getting discounts after that much amount of shopping.

What are things which compel customer to buy particular product or thing.

You all are requested to give your valuable ideas to make most effective campaign

Making a perfect campaign in one go isn't practically possible, as there are an ocean of opportunities. The best one could do is to plan & start with an approach, then refine based on results to take a profitable direction. You'll have to take a call, based on what works & what doesn't. And to do so, continuous testing is required.

 

Speaking of 'what would compel a user to buy something', this is a generic question again. There are a number of factors applicable and above all, user behaviour isn't predictable. I'd say these are a few factors, at least from a theoretical point of view, though actuals may vary on a case to case basis:

 

Navigation - how easy is it for someone to make a purchase from the landing page

Pricing - The lesser the better, as users do research to find the best deal

Value addition - What makes you stand out in the market, than your competitors

Trustworthiness - Something that builds with time

Goodies: Offers, discounts, points, shipping, payment options, warranty and so on

Thanks for giving one more view on the same, but as you are saying we can compel customer through Offers, discounts, points, shipping, payment options, warranty and so on. These are basic fundamental of marketing & sale. Main thing is that how we can survive in the competitive market where everyone stand with new offer and discount.

Factors leading to a conversion are pretty much the same, be it other marketing methods or AdWords; as the ultimate goal is conversions or sale.
