How can i stop displaying dynamic search ads from subdomains?

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

I have a dynamic search ad campaign for my domain http://goo.gl/XeIWFL and when i checked the search terms for previous 30 days, i found that some keywords are selected and ads displayed from  a subdomain http://goo.gl/cQDj2Q , which i am using as a different website. So i want to stop displaying these dynamic search ads for that subdomain.

I have 4 sub domains. So if google adwords are triggering keywords with content from my subdomains, it will waste my money.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
You have to to use Website Exclusion. In ad group auto targeting option in bottom of this page there is option for site exclusion. You have to mention your sub domain name.
Gogle will never select these sub domain and your ads will never target this.
Thanks

Hi Jithin,

You can specify the domain name to use for your search ads in the Advanced Settings section of Campaign Settings.

Here's a screenshot of the section to help you find it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3I7arcjXCqhS3dxa1R2ZHVYZUU/view?usp=sharing

Hi Jithin,

Yes you would specify the domain as www.graffitibooks.com.

If that's not what you need can you explain your issue again so I understand fully?

I want to show dynamic search ads for my domain www.graffittibooks.com not for www.ads.graffittibooks.com

According to the search terms report, ads were shown for www.ads.graffittibooks.com

I want to stop that. Just show ads for my site www.graffittibooks.com

In that case you’d set the domain to www.graffittibooks.com which would only use that domain

Hi Jithin,

I believe you need to create exclusion in order to refrain from showing ads from site you have mentioned.

Here is the article from Help Center that can help you:

Thank You Ashwani.
Made changes as you said. Waiting to get another search term report. I think this will solve my problems.
