Has anyone had success using a person's name as a keyword?

For example: I run campaigns for books. I'd like to be able to have an ad for an author's new book turn up on pages where people are reading about other books by that author. Merely adding the author's name as a keyword gave me some odd results: In some cases it worked, but in too many cases, the ads ran on pages where they really made no sense. Ads were turning up on toy sites, restaurant sites... random sites where that name was nowhere to be found. If anyone can suggest specific strategies for targeting by using a person's name as a keyword, I'd love to hear it. Thank you!

Hi @Kristin M,

the first one who used this was Alec Brownstein. On several occasions I used it also and it worked fine - try to test it.

But remember - Don't be Evil!
